Like most puppies, when Snowy came to visit us for his first puppy groom, he was a little nervous. With time, patience and kindness, by the time his coat was ready for his first adult haircut, Snowy was calm and confident with every aspect of the grooming process.
When Meera first came to us, before her little sister Peach arrived on the scene, she was so incredibly anxious. Over the course of a several solo visits and then siblings visits with Peach, she was able to overcome her fears and enjoy her grooms.
Molly maybe small but what she lacks in size, she certainly makes up for in personality. Typical of the breed, she is intelligent, spirited and is very confident in the studio and really enjoys her baths. She does, however, suffer with joint pain in her shoulders and front legs so we are mindful of this at all times, particularly when brushing and trimming these areas.
Originally breed for herding Reindeer in their native Lapland, the Finnish Lapphund has a dense coat. Like other double coated breeds, the Finnish Lapphund needs regular grooming to brush out all of the dead undercoat. Typical of the breed, Coco is a very easy going dog who enjoys being groomed.
Casper had a very difficult start in life which has left him nervous and very reactive around other dogs. When he first came to us he was a puppy and had never been to a groomer before. After several puppy grooms, he was transformed with a brand standard adult trim and with it grew in confidence and self-assurance.
Knuckles was a very nervous dog when he came to us for the first time but with kind and confident handling, he was reassured. He has a very quiet, calmness about him and silently lets you know that he appreciates the care you're giving him.
Buster is one of our seniors and proud owner of multiple lumps and bumps of old age. He always so happy except when he's in the bath. He isn't a fan of the bath.
